COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
TBC Imperial Dunkel Hefeweizen is an American style Weizenbock. This has the fruity and spicy character that is in a regular hefeweizen along with some caramel and roasty components of a dunkel. It also has the mouthfeel and alcohol content of an imperial ale. Please enjoy in moderation.

3 ounce sampler at the Grovetoberfest Miami beer festival 10/13/12. Very good!

On draft at Titanic Brewing. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a soapy white head. Nose is sugar, banana, slight cough syrup, sugar, yeast, and more esters. Flavor is sweet and refreshing- spice, yeast, banana, bread, sugar, and slight molasses. Medium-bodied and lingering sweet esters. Very nice.

Poured up on tap at the Titanic brewpub with fully opaque garnet amber core and rutty copper edges as well as lasting tan head. The aroma offers thick yeasty spicy banana and a lighter note of grainy malts. The taste is thick and feels very imperial imparting apples, pears, plums and raisins as well as plum juice soaked banana and slushy yeasty spiciness. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy brown with a thinned out head. Banana and clove are there to smell with a light ginger touch towards the end. There is a medicinal almost extracted syrupy touch to the brew, leaving the palate awash with flavors but a lack of consistency. The flavors are all there but lack a little sparkle of carbonation I happen to like with the style. This is a bruiser, and a solid example of a tasty style.

Muddy brown, slick with no head whatsoever. Phenolic aromas include the wonderful odor of nail polish remover. Thin palate like rubbing alcohol. Some fruity character, marred by Sharpie marker. Bad, bad!

Draft at the brewpub. Pours cloudy dark caramel color with light tan head. Aromas of clove, bananas, bubble gum, and molasses. Very sweet. Flavor profile is similar to the aroma. Medium to full body with soft carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. Not a bad beer, but too sweet for my tastes.
