Cask at Wetherspoons Real Ale Festival Not usually my thing and only could drink the third tester glass but had a deep taste, rich and full.

[GBBF 2016] - Titanic Cappuccino Stout 4.5%. Schuckeschwarz. Kein Schaum. Süßliches Aroma mit Lakritze und Schokolade. Mittlerer Körper, aber noch deutlich wässrig. Im Antrunk leicht süßlich, Lakritze. Etwas Kaffee. Zur Mitte bitterer, jetzt deutlicher Kaffee. Säuerlich bitter süß mit Abgang, v.a. Röstmalznoten. Langer, kaffeeartiger Nachhall. Gelungen.

Bottle at the Big Easy, London. Great cappucino aroma with some chocolate too. Similar in the taste but the flavour not quite as robust as the aroma would suggest. Still great, though.

Intense cappuccino, sweet coffee, chocolate, toasted malts, burnt molasses. Very dark brown, medium, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. Bitterness intensifies, bitter chocolate, milk chocolate at the same time, dark roast coffee, flat carbonation. Nice Stout, pretty amazing aroma full of cappuccino, but the palate can’t quite keep up. Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of cappucino, ash and milk chocolate. Flavour of blueberry, chocolate sponge and coffee. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A little sharper than the aroma suggests. Nice beer.

Who needs coffee when we got this….
Black color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Nice intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a smooth carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Smooth and balanced coffee flavor. Also some vanilla and chocolate.
[Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall, Borough in London, England]

Bottle from The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a deep brown colour with a thick, fizzy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, some caramel and slight vanilla. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some vanilla, slight caramel and subtle brown sugar. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, chocolatey finish with a subtle roasted coffee bitterness in the finish. Very similar to the stout but obviously with the inclusion of coffee. Decent but I guess it’s better on cask.
