Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA Jun 5, 2007 Cask, Turf Tavern, Oxford. Hazy orange with a sticky ultra fine pillow of white head. Grapefruit oil aroma and a bit of smoke. Bitterness has a bit of ash too it, citrus hoppy finish. Light bodied and refreshing. The weird ashy quality is sort of distracting to an otherwise pleasant ale. Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 21, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2006. An orange beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light hoppy and fruity notes. The flavor has notes of fruits, flowers, and hops, as well as some lemon in sugar water, leading to a dry end. Drink it in the summer on the terrace. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England Oct 22, 2006 Cask @ GBBF 2006. Golden coloured. Sweet juicy fruit and heavy in the mouth. Slightly cloying as other Titanic beers. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Sep 6, 2006 Cask (GBBF 2006): Fruity, mild malty notes. Sweetish yet still balanced. A boring, but acceptable bitter. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Aug 22, 2006 Cask @ GBBF 2006. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty flavor with hoppy hints and hints of citrus. Fruity bitter aftertaste. chriso (4685), London, Greater London, England Aug 6, 2006 Cask (handpump) at GBBF, August 2006. Day 1, beer#1. Golden in colour but more best bitter in character. Restrained resiny hops and grainy malt in the aroma. More malty than I expected on the palate, with just a touch of lemon zest. Clean, soft mouthfeel. Perfectly decent but not one of Titanic’s more assertive offerings.
