Commercial Description:
Cask: Seasonal - April.
The Titanic was, like this beer, a reminder of an age when England ruled the World. From Agincourt to the Falklands or St.George to Churchill the English people have relied upon beer to celebrate their victories. This rose red beer, brewed using only English ingredients. Has the poise and balance, strength and guile to defeat any dragons thirst.

A cask of this one was put on display at The White Star in Stoke just as we were about to leave the pub. So we had to stay for another half pint. Copper-amber body colour with kirchenfenster on the glass. Fruit hoppy aroma. Taste of resinous hops moving in the direction of dried fruits. Distinct bitter endnotes that last for a while. Fine balanced and easy to drink (02.05.2009).

Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Some fresh leafy earthy hops without the usual titanic zest. Sweetish biscuity malts the main focus without enough hop in the finish.

Cask (handpump), The Colonies, Westminster. A mellow, russet coloured bitter, with the emphasis on dry malt. Some earthy, dusty English hop character. I have to admit it didn’t make too much of an impression on me, but a couple of pints went down nicely at lunchtime. Solid, if unspectacular.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Odd pond weed hop aroma. More like a bitter in th e mouth with nice enought finish, but still with this odd rubbery pond weed flavour. Slightly vegetal.

Cask at the Babington Arms (JDW), Derby. Thick collar of white creamy head, sparkling chestnut body, a solid creamy bitter that was a tad too smooth and unexciting for my tastes.

Cask. New Road Inn, Leicester. Amber and chestnut in colour with a dense white head. Aromas are dry with some Autumn fruit and bitter pine hops. Flavours are dry pine hops with biscuit and citrus. Pretty average stuff.
