COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Special;
This special brew, for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival, is something a little different: a beer using the ingredients designed to create the characteristics of a traditional porter, yet light in colour. The result is a golden beer, with a robust sweetness balanced by swathes of American hops, giving a smooth and powerful flavour, with a crisp finish. Hops used: Cascade, Northdown, Yakima Galena

Cask JDW Last Post. Pours clear amber. Nose straw and strong cheddar. Expected more going by previous reviews but taste was initially genuine porter but changed to salty onions and bovril on the palate. Huge fan of Titanic but this sensed of change for change sake like the mostly substandard fad of black IPAs but a poor effort. Won’t be having another.

Cask at JDW Manchester. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Tastes like a porter but looks like a bitter. I almost said you’ve poured the wrong beer ;-) Hoppiness in the aftertaste. A very interesting beer. Well done Titanic brewery!

Cellar run thanks to the bar manager at Sameul Peto. Golden clear a little puke but some peach fruit. Fine

Cask at JDW - Bishop Vesey; Pour golden yellow, roast malt aroma bit of a weird one because if you closed your eyes you would think you were drinking a dark ale roasty coffee malts. Weird but an OK beer.
