[3155-20100724] Cask. Mild leafy earth and cow aroma. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grainy lemon zest flavour has a long hop finish. Medium body. Nice enough, drinkable.

2010-07-24. Crisp copper amber body with a small fast fading head. 3+ English ale aroma, malty with a bit hop hops, very light grassy hops. 6+ Flavour is similar, typical English ale profile with a malt base, but with a good amount of hop bitterness, particularly in the finish. Average alate, lightly carbonated. Enjoyable. Not my favorite, but I could session a few pints. Cask at Bankes Arms, Studland
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 greenmanalishi (418) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2010
It’s copper. It’s hoppy. It’s got grapefruit flavours and a bitter-dry finish. Not at all bad.

Cask at the Derby Summer Beer Festival 2009. For me this was the best of the night, though amongst some destictly average beers, that’s not saying much. The aroma is fresh with flowers and pine dominating. Lemon and floral flavours start with a long, long hoppy bitter finish. Very nice.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ladnewton (858) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2009
Guest cask at the Dartmouth Arms, London, England on 22nd June 2009. Pale amber coloured ale with small but lasting off-white shallow head that laces well. Herby hoppy aroma then intensely bitter kick which is enjoyed on a lively textured mouthfeel. Then a prolonged dry and very bitter finish. Excellent and worth seeking out. I have seen the beer in one other venue in the past 48 hours.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RichardW (854) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2009
Cask, Kings Head, Carlisle. Must have been reintroduced. Really hoppy, fruity beer, with a sharp grapefruit tang. Chestnut brown colour, with a nice creamy thin head, due to sparkler. Bitterness lingers on the tongue and back of the throat and there’s quite a dryness. Good and refreshing, one to make you suck your cheeks in....!!
