Cask conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton 09/01/14. A dark brown coloured beer with a ruby hue and a white head and lace. There are sweet fruity notes in here but it’s quite thin for its ABV and style. The fruity flavours are nice so it’s pleasant enough to drink.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 24 Nov 2013) Pale brown colour, almost tawny, with frothy beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, chestnuts and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, apricots, hints of rye bread and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced winter ale. Nice one.

Cask at White Horse Old Ale Fest It pours deep amber-brown with a small beige head. The nose is oily, raisin, sultana, honey, wood, brown bread and spice. The taste is wood, varnish, polish, raisin, sultana, toffee, spice, honey and toast with a dry finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. All comes together rather well... One of titanics best.
