Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 10, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet grassy, while the flavor is sweet and like a field of grass in summer time - from a lovely hop. Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Oct 29, 2004 Amber beer with pronounced toffee malt, some candy sugar-like sweetness, and a strongly bitter and earthy finish, very full. Gets better towards the end! (Cask @ Marble Arch, Manchester)
haddonsman (1191), Derby, Derbyshire, England Sep 5, 2004 Re-rate; Babington Arms, Derby - lazy afternoons + lovely golden ale = nirvana. Able to have a fair few this session! Original rating - 3.8 Cask at Royal Oak, Ockbrook. Great golden ale, lovely lemon gold, thick creamy white head, flowery taste with a hint of coriander, if it wasn’t for the fact that I cycled here I’d be enjoying a few more. Spiesy (2331), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Aug 17, 2004 Cask Conditioned, at the GBBF, 2004.
Golden with a white fluffy head. Pale and insipid looking but still OK drinking wise. Easy little session beer. Thanks to Ungstrup for this LITTLE taster. Nice work fella.
chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Aug 11, 2004 Pale gold colour, with a good clean taste and plenty of hop presence. Lots of citric grapefruit in the flavour and a flowery, aromatic, nose. Titanic are very good at producing beers in this style. Not overly complex, but a very palatable, refreshing drop. Just as this style of beer should be. Cask (handpump), GBBF 2004, day 1.
