This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!

Why have I never tasted a plum porter before? Clearly this is the king of fruit beers - nay, the emperor! Plum melds so very well with all the typical porter flavours. I need more of this beer!

[Waterloo Beer Festival, Liverpool, 2014] - Titanic Brewery Plum Porter, 4.9%. Gut.

Cask in the Cheshire Cheese, Buxton. Pours mahogany with a cream head. Aroma of plums. The taste is fruity with a strong plum finish. Some roasty notes in there too. Nice if you like plums, which I don’t. Still pleasant enough and a bit different.

Very sweet and creamy aroma. Quite a bitter sweet taste. Could be a bit plummier. Deep ruby red colour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flagon from Cellar Door, Four Oaks. Dark brown with a ruby tinge, small creamy head. Aroma of fruits, plum, chocolate and some raisins. Initial sweet taste of plums then a touch of chocolate, some roasted malts add a light bitterness, then some raisins and plum again. A nice fruity porter!

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Deep ruby brown colour with creamy beige head. Aroma mainly sweet plum with hints of roasted and chocolate malts. Taste is sweet plum which dominates but has prune and roasted malt notes. Oily mouthfeel and light bodied. A long, roasted bitter finish. A pretty nice fruit porter.

Cask at The Dispensary, Liverpool, UK. pours dark brown with off-white head, good lacing. Fruity aroma. Dark malts and plum in flavor. Sweet. Very interesting, didn’t expected that much plum in flavor.

Deep dark porter, that hits you full in the face with a fruit taste at first, followed by a milder hoppy taste, only took a few tastes to make this one off my favourite beers. Tasted from cask direct from the Titanic brewery.
