Cask at The Holly Bush, Seighford, Staffs. Golden amber poured beer with white creamy head. Nose is light citrus, cereal and yeast. Taste is the same with a sniff of cinnamon and a creamy texture. Nice drinkable pint.

The Square and Compasses, Fairstead. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Tangy mild orange, traces of lemon and apple. Fairly neutral and thin malts underneath. Light fruity finish. Not bad.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - light lemon and yeast. Maybe some gentle cereal or hay. Taste - more of the same, citrus and freshness with a yeasty background. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy and light texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

Cask from Glasfryn, Mold. Pours a clear gold colour with a one finger white head. Aroma is hoppy and citrussy with a little bit of breadiness picked up too. Taste is very dry, herbal and hoppy. Bit too ott on the dryness for my liking!

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Spring BF, Englefield Green, 14/03/14. Pale golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light citric, straw, faint orange. Taste carries a little more depth comprising lemon rind, orange, soft bread dough, straw, light melon. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so GB yawn ....

Cask at the White Star, Stoke-on-Trent. Yellow, almost straw. Lemon, Chardonnay and spicy hop aroma. Massive bitter flavour, which carries the hop character well. Malt also shines in the taste, which mellows nicely. A brilliant session bitter.

Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly white head and lots of lace glued to the inside of the glass. The aroma is fruity malt leading to a hoppy bitter, malty flavour with some spice on the palate. The bitterness in the finish made for a nice refreshing session ale.
