Bottiglia 50cl, comprata da eataly e bevuta a casa. Nera con schiuma pannosa e molto persistente. Molto amara, poco corpo. Finale amaro e molto astringente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

Keg at Ales and Tails, Twickenham, 07/04/13. NOTE to self - need to double check whether this is an unpasteurised version or not but leaving rating here for time being. Mid black with a big frothy beige head that stays for the show. Nose is a little thin, roast malt, barley, metallic notes. Taste comprises roast malt, mineral tones, metallic notes, light chocolate. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth on the palate. Ok drinkable fayre but a touch on the bland side.

Bottle. Black beer with frothy beige head and good lacing. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. The taste is a fine mix of the usual roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. But its well rounded and medium bodied. Very nice stout with a dry finish.
