2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Frothy coarse head, with a cocoa nose which reminds me of my homebrew days. Not the richest of stouts but it does have decent length in the palate. This would be the fourth time I have tried this beer in the last six months and would have to say they tend to quite variable.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Black beer with frothy beige head and good lacing. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. The taste is a fine mix of the usual roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. But its well rounded and medium bodied. Very nice stout with a dry finish.
