A tan coloured beer with hop character developing in the rounded flavour. Lie back in the sun and enjoy this quite superb beer.

Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Gold with white head. Light and fruity body leading to a fresh hoppy, dry, grapefruity, fairly typical of Titanic character, which always goes down well as Andy would remark, and did.

(Cask at Swann, Liverpool, 26 July) Colour is golden amber with little head. Nose is fruity with mandarin, orange and citrussy hops. Taste is fruity with the same citrussy hops and notes of grapefruit, mandarin, orange. Hoppy but fairly short finish. Nice and summery.

Perhaps the August beer but I found it in July! Golden-amber, slight head. All-around nice session bitter. Fruity, first blackberry and cherry then growing in citrus complexion. Smooth, though average viscosity. Slightly acidic with lingering bitter finish. Quaffable bitter if you don't mind the sweetness. (on tap, Hobgoblin, Oxford)

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St. Lawrence. Pale amber with a ring of white head; floral aroma; clean flavour with sweet crystal malts; and a soft leafy bitterness to finish. Delicate and very drinkable.

Cask (@Three Legged Mare): Golden to deep golden, lacy - sticking to the glass - white head; moderate bitter-hoppy nose with pale-malt underneath; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied - but not watery; slightly lingering delicate lemony-hoppy finish with some more fruity undertones. Good and refreshing......

Cask at The Riverside, Sheffield, during RBESG ’09. Gold with a white head. Served a bit cold, and it was a cold wet day. No chance to ’lie back in the sun and enjoy this quite superb beer’, as recommended. Citric aroma and taste with some biscuit. Sharp bitter finish.

Cask - The Wheatsheaf, Borough, London. A slightly hazy orange beer with a small though lasting creamy white head. Mild toffee aromas backed by apple & lemon citric notes. Similar again on the palate with orange and light toasty tones. Light to medium body, spritzy carbonation with a lingering grassy, citric bitterness in the finish.

Cask conditioned handpump Bold Dragoon Northampton 10/07/12. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. There are definite notes of diacetyl in thie, otherwise relatively sweet, beer. Lemony hops in the background. A range of flavours and a reasonable depth, but not everything’s good.
