Draught. Clear golden with modest head. Little aroma, slightly hoppy. Medium body and carboination. Interesting and complex flavour. Tangy and fruity (hint of lychees and lime) with a hint of tea with a pleasant long fairly bitter finish. Very nice beer.

BlackHaddock (4150) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2012
Hand-pulled pint in the excellent Cock Hotel, Wellington (Shropshire) on 29th Sept 2012. Lovely amber body, clean and clear looking: on top an off-white crown which provided a host of lacing as the beer sank down my UK pint sleeve glass. Floral hop nose: mid malty touch as well (mildly toasted/roasted bread/biscuit notes). The taste was also floral hop with the malts clearly present as well: again the malts stayed in the background just preventing the beer becoming too bitter or hoppy. The malt content added some smoothness but no real sweet infusion: interesting and another fine beer from Titanic. Nice blend of flavours and very easy to drink.

What a beer this is, another cracker from Titanic. An attack on your taste buds of hops, malt, smooth as well. Decent head on it as well, plenty for your palate to consider.

Cask conditioned at The Jolly Crispin, Upper Gornal, W.Mids. Gold to amber with white head. Good old malty beer with a fragrant leafy hop highlight, well set up and balanced. Quite light on the palate. Decent.

Cask at the Wenlock Arms, London on 29th September 2013. Amber with no head or lace visible. Pungent earthy aroma with touches of smoke and caramel malt. Leafy hop, smoky touches and citric zing in-mouth. Bitter and quite nutty finish. Engaging mouthfeel and medium body.

Golden body with a soft full creamy white head. Chocolate malt and green hop aroma. Full flavoured albeit an odd mix of flavours. Nice bitter finish.

Cask, Ale Wagon, Leicester. Amber with minimal foam. Aromas are melon with toffee and floral, spicy hops. Grapefruit with a clean nose. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with lots of grapefruit bitterness. Dry and bitter on the finish. A good traditional bitter.

A Mes rate: Cask at The Phoenix in Canterbury. Slightly off in the nose. Slight cloudy hue to the orange body. Lots of lemon and grapefruit. Straight from the barrel, even some hops in the bottom of the glass.

(cask at The Wharf)Sent of not mash, but rotten mash, really heavy here. Dark copper color. For a bitter I´d say it was on the heavy side, lots of bitter sweet flavours. Gets a bit yeasty in the finish.

Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Mid brown. Malty bitter with citusy herbal hops. The hops become more pronounced to leave a tasty finish. Shame the rest of the beer isnt as good as the finish.
