A sweet refreshing taste with a little sourness and some cardboard. An interesting, complex taste with only marginal bitterness. A good, summery ale. Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes, 5.1.09. Faint malt aroma. taste smooth and spicy, slightly sweet with a little bitterness. Rated 3,3,6,4,13: 2.9

Yellow with a small head. Some hops and a pleasant lingering aftertaste. Apart from that its fairly average.

Cask at Thomas Ingoldsby JDW, Canterbury Pale gold in colour with a slightly vegetal nose and a little bit of citric hop. Mouth feel was pretty good, but the flavours and aftertaste were not quite there. There were hints of vegetables and herbs and citric lemon, but just not enough of them. Pleasant enough to drink but needs a bit more pronounced flavour

A tasty ale that just lacks a little on the fringe qualities. That is, it’s a bit thin in the finish, doesn’t smell of anything much, and the mouthfeel is a bit dull. Nevertheless, the flavour is good and it could well develop into something special with time - both the beer and the brewer.

Celery, vegetable nose; hazy pale gold color; lathery head. Light grainy malt taste with low bitter coming from a mix of stale hops. Thin body. Overall not so good.

Cask: Golden, small frothy head. Grain, cereal, hops and herb taste. Kind of plain hops nose. Ok - but not too exciting.

[Cask at Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy orange beer with an OK but disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but dominated by hops giving it a dry end.
