"A light refreshing distinctively hoppy beer with a freshness that belies its strength, so easy to drink it will fool all but the crustiest of sea dogs."

Bottle. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma and taste is of caramel malt, grass, hops and tobaco. Medium body with a light tobaco finish.

Hand pump at the Roebuck, Richmond. Small head, fine lacing. Very pale beer. Light and smooth. Some honey-like sweetness, a little hops, but not enough. Not very pleasant.

A Mes rate: Pint at the JDW at Liverpool Street. Sweet grapes aroma. Crappy lifeless appearance. Tastes very much like one of my mums white wine and sodas with some extra grapefruit added. Bitter finish. Pretty poor.

On tap in Weatherspoons, Cambridge. Cloudy yellow with slight head. Musty, Yeasty honey aroma. Sweet honey flavour but flat, no character. Overall the beer had a good taste but I feel the beer was not looked after in the pub. I am confident this beer is better in the bottle or from a decent pub.

golden coloured quite pale in colour and a very light hue. Pleasant on the nose and tongue with quite a pleasant taste and aroma. The same colour as a lager, but with far more taste than a cheap beer such as a lager like carling.

A golden straw coloured beer with a thick, creamy white head. The nose is light and slightly yeasty at first, but then the floral hoppiness comes through with a vengeance! This is then accompanied by a sweet fruitiness similar to that of peaches. The taste is light and bitter with the dry, floral hoppiness being the predominant flavour. As in the aroma, there is a hint of peach fruitiness towards the end. The finish is light and bitter. (Draught - Lloyd’s Bar @ The Globe, King’s Lynn).
