If titletown would have this year round; I would never go home. Such the complexity of flavors and age has turned this barley wine into a winner. MORE PLEASE!

Super sweet yet omplex brew. Maple syrup, bourbon, vanilla, and oak all are prominent. Age has made it drinkable despite the huge sweetness.

The best thing in their line up. Absolutely incredible. Go their just to get a bunch of this.

Drunk at their release party. Pours a cloudy auburn color . Aroma is maple syrup, brown sugar, light oak and bourbon notes, and some vanilla. Taste is rather one-note and a bit overpowering brown sugar. Small hints of vanilla, and bourbon, but was hoping for a little more variance. Still good, though, but not as eccentric as others.

After 3 years of looking at the Heaven Hill barrels at Titletown that housed their barleywine, they finally tapped it tonight. Served cool in a snifter the beer has little off-white big bubbly head with a rusty amber color with a nice light haze floating about. Aroma is a wonderful bourbon nose with vanilla, oak, maple syrup, brown sugar, wood, dark fruit notes and caramel malt. Taste is of sweet caramel malt, brown sugar, maple syrup, dark fruits, vanilla, bourbon, charred wood, and light woody notes. Full bodied and delicate carbonation make this one heck of a beer. Worth the wait? Definitely! Dave, you knocked this one out of the park!
