holdenn (1159), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 After Hinterland Brewery, which is kitty corner to this place, I couldn’t drink too much more and still bike to the motel, so this was my only selection of theirs and I wasn’t that impressed. Copper orange with a white head. Sweet malts, citrus hops, and strawberries in the aroma. Pale malts in the flavor that taste somewhat cola like as they warm up, a touch of grass, and a very little hop bite or bitterness at all. Decent, but not very IPA like at all. mnurda (354), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jul 16, 2008 Part of a sampler tray during a visit to Green Bay. Unfrotunately, this was a couple of months ago, and my memory is faint. Nice place to visit, All the samples were tasty. This one was my favorite General_Gao (2568), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. The aroma was dominated by citrusy/flowery hops. Poured a medium orange color with an off white head. Light bodied and slightly sweet. Citrus flavors (grapefruit and orange) imparted by the hops were supported by some relatively thin toasted malt. Not bad. phishpond417 (1456), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 18, 2008 This is one of my favorite IPAs. The citrusy, fruity aroma overpowers you and the body is a beautiful dark amber with a large fluffy vanilla head. Just shy of perfection, it is a clean, clear crisp taste with an overwhelming flavor of fruit A beer I occasionally have a growler full of in my fridge, and i usually enjoy at the brewpub. JPDIPSO (4266), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 7, 2008 Updated: Apr 8, 2008Dark golden to amber in color. Beige colored head. Thinner feel. Aromas of light toffee and mild citric hops. Dark, near burnt caramel flavors. Fairly dry with a some floor and earthy malt. Somewhat english in style.
