boto (1256), Granby, Connecticut, USA Oct 29, 2008 Cask version draught @ Brewpub. This one poured a clear, copper color with one finger of an off-white head. The aroma is subdued. There are hops in there, but not as much as I might expect. Mainly citrus aroma with some caramel malt. The taste is nicely balanced. there is a fair amount of bitterness, mainly citrus hop taste with some earthiness also. Nice.
CaryTheDude (573), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Nov 26, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra and co. at the brewery. Once again, nothing offensive, just not very good. Thankfully no dish soap, but when that’s the best quality I can point out, something is definitely missing...aight? holdenn (1214), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 After Hinterland Brewery, which is kitty corner to this place, I couldn’t drink too much more and still bike to the motel, so this was my only selection of theirs and I wasn’t that impressed. Copper orange with a white head. Sweet malts, citrus hops, and strawberries in the aroma. Pale malts in the flavor that taste somewhat cola like as they warm up, a touch of grass, and a very little hop bite or bitterness at all. Decent, but not very IPA like at all. mnurda (371), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jul 16, 2008 Part of a sampler tray during a visit to Green Bay. Unfrotunately, this was a couple of months ago, and my memory is faint. Nice place to visit, All the samples were tasty. This one was my favorite GeneralGao (2726), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. The aroma was dominated by citrusy/flowery hops. Poured a medium orange color with an off white head. Light bodied and slightly sweet. Citrus flavors (grapefruit and orange) imparted by the hops were supported by some relatively thin toasted malt. Not bad.
