COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We fermented this East-Flanders-style brown ale with Belgian brewers’ yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria, creating an exceptionally complex ale with a robust caramelly, bready malt base, fruit-and-spice notes from the yeast, and a pleasantly tart, sweet-and-sour finish.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a weird grassy malt with sour cabbage, pickles, strange. In mouth, a sweetish sour and watery interpretation, with sour cherries, a bit off. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.
