COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark, rich, roasty chocolate porter balances aggressive roasted malt flavors with chocolate-like malty sweetness and a creamy full body. Hop flavor is absent, with just enough bitterness for balance. Brewed to coincide with the Pullman Porter exhibit at Green Bay's National Railroad Museum.

Oh I like this. Coffee and chocolate notes. Got a fuggles like aura about it. And a bitterness that's perfect. Easily my favorite beer on the menu. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

TAP at Titletown. Pour is brown. Coffee and chocolate on the nose. Taste is sweet, maybe molasses with a nice roast and chocolate. Finish is slightly bitter.

Pours a dark black colour with a little light brown head. Taste is slightly metallicy, so i was turned off a bit by that. Mouthfeel was a little thin, otherwise deep dark flavors of chcolate and spice. Taste is creamy and rich, Aroma is pleasent, black cherries.

Thick and heavy on the palate. Coffee, tobacco, and malt roasted to the point of being nearly burnt. Still, more fully flavored than many, and a good smooth palate. All of the flavors work. Better than a a lot of dialed in porters.

Growler courtesy of Skyview. Dark brown color with a large head. Awesome chocolate and roasted malt aroma. The flavor pulls back a lot, down to just a hint of coffee, very light smoke and some roasted malt.

Color is black/dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, and anise. Taste is about the same. Nothing too special but an enjoyable and solid porter.

(growler thanks Skyview!) Pours black with an off-white head. The aroma was primarily dominated by burnt malts, with scents of smoke, sour spent coffee grounds, and an odd barnyard scent that smelled similar to wet hay. The taste is completely overtaken by overly roasted malt, slight smoke, coffee, and just a hint of chocolate appears, but it does nothing to offset the massive onslaught of astringency. Medium mouthfeel.

On tap at Titletown. Poured very deep brown with a short, creamy cap of beige head. The aroma was sweet and coffee-ee with a nice lighter chocolate complement.. warmth brought out some molasses on the back of the nose.. dry overall and nicely presented. The flavor had heavy lighter-roasted coffee all over with coffee and faint woody bitterness surrounding.. again warmth brought out the molasses as well as semi-sweet chocolates.. tasty. Medium-bodied with OK balance on the palate.. a bit rough at the end, which precluded some of the good malts from coming through.

On draught at the brewpub in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear cola brown brew with a creamy and thin beige head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and beige ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, dark chocolate, a touch of lactose, molasses and some flowery hops. Taste is medium, bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of toasted dark multi-grain malts, dark chocolate and some allspice. Finish has a nice balance of toasted dark malt, chocolate and flowery hop character. Actually, not a bad porter overall.
