Finishes strong lingering bitter with some sweetness. A pleasant hop juice.

Very good, fluffy off-white head over very lightly cold-hazed copperish golden beer. Very fruity New World hops dominating the nose; bit of ureum, dry hopbales, Hessian sacks. Quite bitter, fruity but also a bit metallic; grapejuice with every molecule of sugar removed. Dry-herbal, even a bit peppery. The hopoverload pays its price in the palate, which is too watery at 4.5%. Spritzy, very carbonated, very slightly oily feel. The problem in marrying lagers to IPA-like characteristics lies in their lack of robustness. Something has to buffer the hopoils, and the CO² just won’t do the trick;

Bottled. Pours golden in color with a foamy whitish head. Sweet citrus fruityness, green nettles and garden earthyness in aroma. Even some soapy notes are present. Grassy bitter taste with a quite dry and bitter ending. Basically this seems like a good brew, but for the moment this just feels a bit too overhopped to be enjoyable and refreshing. Bit of lemony fruityness and bitter bloodgrapefruity notes in aftertaste. Edit: got better and softer towards the end as the worst of the harsh hoppy notes faded away.
