This puppy is an IPA beaten with juniper berries and sea-buckthorn and trashed with hops. It is a celebration of a potent beer culture shared between scandinavia and the baltic region. Ingredients: Water, Malt, Seabuckthorn, Hops (Centennial, Columbus and Cluster), Juniper Berries and Yeast.

33 cl bottle. BBE 01.10.2014.
Pours viscotic hazy orange color with a large head. Aroma of floral hops, fresh fruits, caramel, hay and grass. Flavor of citrus fruits, faint sea-buckthorn, danish berries, hops, toffee, grass. Quite weird brew, but not bad.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka, BBE 01.10.2014
High viscosity and quite cloudy appearance. Aroma is rather fruity with passionfruit, some pineapple and hints of peaches. Flavour is hoppy with herbs and gooseberry bush. Finishes with lots of grapefruit. Perhaps some seabuckthorn in the background – but I would not have noticed it if I hadn’t read the name of the beer. All at all, rather spicy and herby IPA.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy orange colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet exotic fruits and some berries. Flavour of sweet malts, caramel, berries, spices, exotic fruits and grassy hops. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a bitter, fruity, berryish finish. Good.

BBE 01/10/14 - Pours yellowish with a small white head. Aroma of fresh fruity hop pallets, berries, grass, pine, hints of spices. Taste is fruity and salty with notes of toffee, caramel, berries, citrus and spices. Finish is bitter with some fruity hops, salty notes, hints of stingy seabuckthorn notes. Nice, quite unique IPA with some spicy and stingy notes.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy yellow brown color. Aromas of perfumed sea-buckthorn (or cloudberry) and pepper. Bitter taste with sea-buckthorn, juniper, menthol and biscuity maltiness. Hard long lingering bitterness with juniper. Medium body. Sea-buckthorn fits quite nicely to IPA but finish is quite hard, maybe partly due to juniper.

nice looking ipa, cloudy with a firm head. Very hoppy and fruity aroma. Dryness is a bit over the top with the hop bitterness. Interesting.

Draught at Queens Head, Stockholm. Muddy orange, rich head. Huge aroma of mango-like hops and - is that buckthorn? Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Massive hop flavour. Resiny and quite aggressive. A rich array of weird interesting flavours. Citric massively bitter finish. A bit sterile, like many beers brewed at deProef.

Det första som slår mig hur otroligt grumlig ölen är och det känns ju som en bra start. Smaken bär inslag av svart vinbär, mango och sur disktrasa, beskan upplever jag som lite konstig och kroppen är något tunn.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2014 Bottle from Gambrinus, Tartu. Strong pine aroma, rather hoppy.. Orange, cloudy, medium carbonation. Sea-buckthorn gives that color, and juniper gives specific "pine" aroma. Full bodied beer, creamy, thick texture. This is quite interesting brew. I have not tried similar combination before. If you drink sea-buckthorn juice, than you will find plenty of that in this beer. As for juniper - In case of this beer I possibly would doubled the concentration for next brews. If you see the bottle of it somewhere - get it. Update 16.02.14 - I think it is the third batch, that hit the taps. Much better than 2nd one, and as amazing as first one. Fill a bit thicker this time.

Bottle@Home Apperance: Hazy yellow with a small, white, head. Aroma: Berries, Hops, Hint of citrus. Taste: Caramel, Peach, Citric notes, Berries, Hint of pine. Palate: Fruit with lots of bitterness. Ends dry. After hearing my friends raving about this one on draught i had high hopes for this beer but i feel i was kind of let down. A tasty ipa but i feel something is missing.
