3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A cloudy orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A strong fruity aroma, citrusy hops, orange and buckthorn plus a tiny hint of malt. A dry mouthfeel. A tart, green and very hoppy flavour, pithy citrus fruits, mostly lemon and grapefruit, and a hint if orange then the buckthorn comes through later. The finish is tarty and very hoppy.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a thin white head. Heavy citrus and pine needle notes on the nose. Taste is fantastic - big grapefruit hop kick with a lingering sweetness from the juniper berries. Rich mouthfeel with a lovely resinous finish on the palate. A delicious and interesting IPA that I will endeavour to drink again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy gold with a short, lively head. Smells like sweet juniper berries and a light acidic fruity sweet-bitterness, I assume from the buckthorn. Nice piney hops in the aroma too. Taste is full and contains a nice bitterness, really refreshing. Lots of sweet juniper and a touch of sour bitterness. Solid body. Awesome beer.
