355ml bottle. At the beginning there is rich, intense aroma of aromatic hopping plus roasted and sweet malt notes. Later it becomes more sugary, more roasted, chocolate tones comes out more intense, some alcohol too. Pours black with brown medium head, minimal lacing. Taste is dominant roast bitter, then sweet malt profile, medium strong, spicy mouthfeel. Above medium body, silky texture, long, medium dry roast bitter finish. Interesting balance between silky and robust, like both at the same time. Interesting. Maybe only minus is roast overrun of other aspects. First brew which changed aroma three times, weird.

Koelschtrinker (8481) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 2, 2013
12/11/13/13/12/12
