Black with a nice moka head. Coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt with grassy hops. Taste in balanced, a little bitter with a nice long lasting chocolate bitterness aftertaste. Full body, thick creamy texture. Very good porter, a reference standard.

Pours really well. A nice thick tan head that sticks around with some lacing. I really like this. One of the better porters going. Everything you want really strong malts/coffee/chocolate without tasting too boozy. Nice bitter finish and gets better the more you drink it.

Pitch black color, small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee dark chocolate, wood, cocoa, hint of smoke. Dry sweet taste has similar notes with hops in medium bitter finish, roasty aftertaste with hint of chocolate. Full body and soft carbonation. Really well balanced and highly drinkable.

Bottle. Black, cappuccino head. Very dark roasty, charred burnt salt licorice, slight smokey aroma. Intense. Some green herbalness too. Full bodied, quite smooth nice. Bitter enough to balance the sweets. Intensive, robust, bitter black porter.

Blacker than the blackest black of infinity. It doesn’t have a particularly strong smell, but it’s pitch black and tastes like charcoal and chocolate.

Très noir avec un très petit tête marron. L’arôme du malt pilsen, et de la fumé avec un peu du chocolat. Ce n’est pas trop huileux ni sucré pour un porter forte. Un peu sec avec une finition amer mais bien équilibré.

Black with red head. Great lacing. Aroma is dark chocolate, charcoal, licorice, vanilla and espresso. Slick and fruity palate. Aftertaste is fruity, espresso, grassy hops, some caramel and lingering dark chocolate bitterness. Overall: Really nice! Very brutal.

Very good indeed. Black body with a light brown head that slowly collapses into moderate lacing. Dark berries hit the nose first, then liquorice and leather. Full creamy body. Tastes of chocolate, roasted malt and vanilla with an undercurrent of fruit. Milky at the end. I like this a lot.
