330 ml bottle - poiurs deep brown with a potent light brown head. Aroma has notes of coffee, green parpica and other raw roasted notes. Body is medium with a nice balance between mouthfeel and carbonation, making the taste impressions of coffee and toffee coming through well. Nice porter!

Black in colour with a thin but lasting tan head, light lacing. The aroma is incredibly roasty, lots of chocolate, some vanilla and smoke. The flavour is moderately sweet, some light alcohol, chocolate and coffee, lots of roasted malts. Finishes long, some hops, roasty. 330ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York.

Black with a nice moka head. Coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt with grassy hops. Taste in balanced, a little bitter with a nice long lasting chocolate bitterness aftertaste. Full body, thick creamy texture. Very good porter, a reference standard.

Pours really well. A nice thick tan head that sticks around with some lacing. I really like this. One of the better porters going. Everything you want really strong malts/coffee/chocolate without tasting too boozy. Nice bitter finish and gets better the more you drink it.

Pitch black color, small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee dark chocolate, wood, cocoa, hint of smoke. Dry sweet taste has similar notes with hops in medium bitter finish, roasty aftertaste with hint of chocolate. Full body and soft carbonation. Really well balanced and highly drinkable.

Bottle. Black, cappuccino head. Very dark roasty, charred burnt salt licorice, slight smokey aroma. Intense. Some green herbalness too. Full bodied, quite smooth nice. Bitter enough to balance the sweets. Intensive, robust, bitter black porter.

Blacker than the blackest black of infinity. It doesn’t have a particularly strong smell, but it’s pitch black and tastes like charcoal and chocolate.

Très noir avec un très petit tête marron. L’arôme du malt pilsen, et de la fumé avec un peu du chocolat. Ce n’est pas trop huileux ni sucré pour un porter forte. Un peu sec avec une finition amer mais bien équilibré.
