Bottle to glass. This is pretty much halfway between an euro and American porter. Has some euro malt but also some of the American stout flavors but not te sweetness. Lots of chocolate, but you can tell it comes from the malt not added cocoa nibs. Almost kinda tastes Like brownies. Some coffee and smoke as well. This was surprisingly good.

Czarne jak cholera, z piękną brązową, bardzo drobną pianą. Pełne, dobrze zbalansowane między słodami a chmielami. Goryczka bardzo fajna.

Pours a dark cola-black with a chunky tan head and watery legs. Smell is of lots of coffee, roasted malts, hops. Taste is more coffee, bitter hops with a dry chocolate finish. Body is not at all creamy - crisp, a little on the watery side, nice amount of light carbonation. Good amount of hop. Delicious.

Pitch black pour with perfect tan head. Roasted hoppy bitter aroma. Taste is very balanced between roasted malts and hops with a lingering dry, bitter finish. Very nice porter that exceeds expectations.

Spectacular beer that gets better as it warms up. Full bodied with a delicious hop-forward balance this is a great beer to finish an extended tasting session.

Byttehandel fra esp0r. Svart farge, nesten kremet, oljeaktig viskositet, stor mørk skumtopp. Lite karbonert, men langt ifra "død". Smaker brent malt, eik, kaffe, nøtter, kjeller aromaer, noe mørk sjokolade. Kraftig mørk smak, lite sødme... uten at det gjør noe. En god porter

Keg Half Pint at Euston Tap, London in Aug 2012 - Opaque Black in colour. Very Malty; roast (burnt) malts, lots of chocolate, espresso coffee, dark sugar, hints of smoke. Hoppy; lots of citric hops, good hop bite. Fruity; some grapefruit citrus and hints of dried fruits. Roasty malts meets citric hops. Fairly bitter throughout and very dry in the finish. Good stuff. Nice Strong Porter!
