33cl bottle. Black colour with small/medium brown head. Full bodied and average carbonated. Aroma is a mix of wood, alcohol and hints of roasted malts. Those malts are more evident regarding taste, with some chocolate notes and a slightly bitter aftertaste. I find it too soft for a beer like this, but it’s not bad.

Barwa: czarna z delikatnymi rubinowymi przebłyskami, klarowne.

Aroma: bitter chocolate, soya sauce, roasted dark malts, acetone, some smoked notes. Appearance: deep black color, brown head. Taste: low bitterness (herbs), really hot notes (something like chilli), roasted dark malts, bitter chocolate, smoked notes (burnt barley), coffee, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, spicy finish. Overall: Strange stuff, some unexpected hot notes with average porter basis.

Prezentacja: czarne, nieprzejrzyste, brązowa bardzo obfita piana, raczej drobna, trwała, pięknie płacze i zdobi szkło ;
Aromat: paloność, kawa i czekolada gorzka, lekko prażony słonecznik i delikatna mięsna wędzonka, po zabełtaniu wychodzą owocowe estry ;
Smak: słonecznik prażony przechodzi w czekoladę gorzką i likier czekoladowy z leciutką nutą wędzonki ;
Odczucie: bardzo treściwe, oleiste, średnio nasycone, zaklejające, chmielowy finisz, coś między słonecznikiem a gorzką czekoladą ;
Ogólnie: przyjemne, intensywnie gorzko czekoladowe.

Bottle. Aroma actually hoppy, earthy, grassy, but also fruity hops, then lots of roasted malt, burnt. Almost black colour. Taste is heavily malty, dark roasted, coffee, smoked, at the same time lots of grassy hops. Very balanced, very nice.

I absolutely love this beer. I can’t say if perfection does exist, but if it does, than it’s very similar to this. Brown thick head on a dark black body, hints of coffee, liquorice, cocoa perfectly mixed with the traditional malty stout flavour.

BB 16/06/19. Poured an opaque black colour with a one- to two-finger tan foamy head that retained very well and laced very well. Carbonation moderate. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate, subtle roasted malt and subtle coffee. Taste of quite sweet chocolate with the roasted grain coming through as well as it being quite bitter. Medium body. Creamy, smooth with a lingering mild bitterness on the finish. Very nice to sip!
