330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Almost black, big beige head. Spicy treacle coffee malt aroma. Chocolate coffee flavour. Bitter atertaste. Bit of a mish mash this one - Imperial Stout, Porter and black IPA all in one.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Tulip. Dark brown colour bordering black with a big, fluffy lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate, liquorice, peach, citrus, pines and coffee. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Long lasting finish with roasted malts and a lingering bitterness. Great B-IPA.

Bottle at home. Clear black with a large dark brown head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty (roasted, burnt, chocolate), heavy hoppy (pine). Flavor light to medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Medium+ body.

(Bottle). Smell of roasted malt and lots of hops. Taste of roasted malt and hops. The aftertaste is rough and slightly sour, unfortunately also with a dull bitterness in the finish. I like the smell but the taste could have been better!

Black with a gigantic foamy khaki head. Aroma of cocoa, pine, and coffee. Taste is roasty, close to ashy, and bitter and mildly sweet. Dry, medium body with softly fizzy carbonation.

0.33l bottle. Black body, creamy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, some smoke and some citrusy hops. The taste is really smoky with notes of chocolate and citrusy hops. Medium body, creamy texture. Nice, but would be better for me with less smoke.

Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Medium high creamy light brown body. Very dark brown body. Mild coffee aroma. hard roasted coffee flavor. Heavily carbonated. A bit too heavily roasted malt flavor. Long dry finish.

Bottle cotteridge wines Birmingham. Black colour good mocha head lacing. Aroma is chocolate coffee some pine. Taste is chocolate coffee sweet lactose pine followed by good roasted malts light bitter finish some alcohol warmth. Nice smooth body and mouthfeel. Very good lots going on in the flavour.
