0.33l bottle. Black body, creamy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, some smoke and some citrusy hops. The taste is really smoky with notes of chocolate and citrusy hops. Medium body, creamy texture. Nice, but would be better for me with less smoke.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. A dense, two-finger light tan head forms over a next to black body. Nice lacings. The aroma has lots of hop pellets, with citrus peel, pine cones, some alcohol and roasted malts. Coffee hints. It’s full-bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level and some warmth. Roasted malts, pine cones, hop pellets and citrus peel, and a pleasant bitterness. Lasting finish. Pretty lovely this black ipa. 140426
