Pours clear amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is grapefruit, mango & pineapple. Taste is tropical, mango, pineapple with a bitter but very clean finish. Where was this lagered beer back in the Heineken-St. Pauli Girl days?

Bottle at Brewdog Stockholm, april 18th 2014. Dark orange body with a rather big white head. Strong hoppy aroma of peach, apricot and pine, also soma caramel, light grassy notes. Taste follows the same hoppy scheme, with a stronger malt character in form of bread and caramel, dark fruity finish, pleasant lasting bitterness. Good complexity throughout, and a real pleasure to drink.

bottle, 38th b’day drinks, thanks to mads for the trade. the brown paper bag reminded me of drinking beer on australian trains and the theory that so many australians drink beer out of paper bags because the police can’t search the contents of your bag or something like that. anyways, this is much better than anything found inside a paper bag in australia - clear amber; aroma of melon, brown sugar and slivovice; just the right amount of bitterness, some ipaish tropical character but also grassy. wish a czech brewer could make an extremely drinkable imperial pils like this

Pours a deep orange with a foamy looking lightly tanned head. Clean aroma with malts and some grassy hops. Taste is malty, subdued alcohol notes and a crisp bitterness. Very nice and highly drinkable. Close to full bodied with high levels of co2.

Big beige head. Clear deep dark brownish red body with carbonation and little particles. Deep resiny tropical fruit aroma with wooden pineapple notes. Dry-sweet earthy perfumy raisiny malt taste with plastic and spicy rye notes. Fullish body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish spicy wooden vanilla aftertaste with smoky resiny citrus notes. Interesting and different. Full of flavour, yet clean and harmonic. A little bit too perfumy for a full score. (0.375l bottle from ... not sure.)

Birthday present from my girlfriend, but I know it came from New Beer Distributors in Manhattan: Pours copper with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is plenty of citrus hops, a bit of earth, some sweet malts, resin (no shortage of that). Taste is bitter, but not excessively so. Body is nice; slightly oily, but still very drinkable. One would be hard-pressed to determine that this is a lager. The brown bag around it is a great way to keep out the light in a green bottle. Heineken, take notice.

Mycket malt och väldigt välhumlad i aromen. Väldigt krämig i kroppen. Väldigt ra fyllighet.

Bottle, 375ml paper wrapped. It pours a hazy, orange-ish golden body under a finger-thick, dense, off-white to light beige head. It’s very hoppy on the nose, almost like sniffing hop pellets. Pine cones, oranges, lime zest... and some maltyness. The flavor has malty sweetness in the back, with lots of citrusy, piney hops up front. Grapefruit, resins and some lime. Almost too bitter, it’s at least very intense. It’s full-bodied and slighlty warming on the palate, sweetish, yet dry, and with a suitable carbonation level. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. Would have guessed DIPA if someone asked me what this is. Nice anyway. 140619

Bottle 375ml @ Cabin, Tråsåvika Camping
Pours hazy amber with a off-white/beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, peach, caramel and alcohol. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long slightly warm, citrus fruity and slightly caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
