The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

330 ml bottle from Ammersin 5, Vienna.
Amber, cloudy body, with a big, creamy, white head, that leaves a thick lacing.
Aroma is juicy, with citrus, orange, tropical fruits, some grass, honey, candy, some biscuit.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty and grassy.

Very good! Thick, juicy and therefore pretty filling - actually a bit too filling for my taste. Nonetheless a really nice, well balanced and quite unique DIPA.

Garrold (2834) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2015
Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Murky gold. Messy film of sticky, white head. Big, fruity, juicy, oily, pineapple hop. Lots of thick, sweet, grainy malt. Peachy. Some orange rind. Big, inviting, and juicy. Taste is sweet, then juicy, pulpy, zesty bitter. Feels nowhere near the ABV. A bit oily. Finishes chewy sweet, turning juicy, clingy bitter. A bit unrefined. And all the better for it.

Full of fresh hops, but the malt gives a decent sweetness to balance this. Very tasty.

McWorta (1071) - LUXEMBOURG - DEC 30, 2014
Solid yellow-orange bit hazy colour with a medium-large frothy off white head very good lacings. Tropical fruit, pineapple, lime and citron peel with herbal hints and light spruce notes. Finely carbonated with a bit slick texture. Medium bodied with subtle tropical fruit up front developing a well balanced hoppiness drying out, yet all kept in check by a well kept malt structure. The finish is light biscuity, herbal-fruity and dry lasting well on the palate.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Nadine DLG for this bottle! Murky blond with white head. Fresh and floral aroma, hoppy, creamy, bitter and fresh in the mouth. Full body, pleasing, delicate, long, bitter finish.

A semi-cloudy gold with a thin head of foam. A herbal semi-dank hop nose with on tap. It has a a full flavored hop profile in the mouth. Nice stuff

Slightly hazy golden colour, firm white head. Hoppy aroma, tropical fruit, pineapple, honey, pure hop pellets. Bitter hoppy flavour, green hops, resin. Hoppy bitter finish. Nice! Not very balanced, but then again that wasn’t expected either.

Punch in the face of a beer. I thought it was amazing last time. So much grapefruit, citrus, hops and caramel malts. Might one of the best looking beers I've seen. Sits very proud.
