4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
33cl bottle pours with an opaque dirty gold body (hop hazed I hope) that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up citrus hoppy goodness mixed with mineral notes and some spicy hops, floral hops and resiny pine. The taste is juicy malt sweetened grapefruit as well as orange and tangerine notes and then moving into slivers of earthy lime, floral hops and pine hops. Behind all of the hops are modest notes of yeastiness and a mineral sensation. Juicy citrusy goodness here. I like it and I really enjoy just about everything from this brewery.

Bottle at home
Hazy dark amber, lacing offwhite head. Super pithy citrus nose with all the sticky toffee malt of a US barleywine. Medium carbonation, sweet, very hot, sunny delight, booze, caramel. Teethe achingly sweet. Lots of pith. Promises it all but doesn’t put out.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy orange beer with a big foamy head leaving lots of lacing on the glass. The aroma has lots of fruity hops, mainly grapefruit, some caramelly malts and a hint of alcohol. Taste is first caramelly sweet and then piny bitter, ending with alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium full with a quite long finish, with the alcohol showing up too much.

LCBF as ’To Øl DCTS’. Smell is pungent, peach? Body is medium and sparkling. Taste is actually a little sour, some caramel coming through. Difficult to be more descriptive for beer number 27 on the night.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Another big bold well balanced Beverage. Cloudy poor with minimal head. Big citrus flavour, great bitter after taste and a nice malt base to round it out without dominating. Trying to remember a bit more but it was a big beer in the abv department but pleasantly and a little dangerously didn’t notice.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows resinous pine, rich sweet malt, nectarine and orange marmalade. Lovely.
Great malty flavours too, with lots of sweetness before pine, spicy and resinous hops enter followed by an assertive, well-balanced bitterness. Very drinkable.
Lovely moderately high carbonation and slightly syrupy body.
