4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Seriously excellent beer. Sweet, but not caramelly like US DIPAs. Big and hoppy, but not overblown. Composed, balanced. Syrupy mouthfeel, with excellent fizz. Loved.

draught at Csakajósörök, Budapest, Hungary // fell in love with this hazy, not disturbingly sweet double IPA; just what I needed after a killer week! the bitterness in the end doesn’t let you go easily, but you don’t want to be let gone anyway...

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
hazy orange colour, not too much off white head; aroma of pine resin, some honey, hints of grapefruit and berries; taste of intensive bitterness (caused by piney hoppyness), however malty sweetness is also present; cool double IPA

Very hazy amber beer with a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft and light and airy. Modest fine carbonation. Light wheaty malt with a little cream. Hops spice with mild tropical fruits. Little aniseed. Crisp finish with more hop spice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 330ml from Kihoskh. Hazy orange color, decent steady off-white head. Lots of gooseberry and some pine in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity maltyness, sticky "gooseberry bushes" hoppyness and lingering resiny bitterness. Some alcohol in the finish. Lots of hops but drinkability is still quite good. Same time quite typical To Ol/Mikkeller De Proef-DIPA.
