COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

330ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Orangey golden colour with a foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of mango, passionfruit, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel nicely balanced with juicy tropical fruits, citrus & spicey hop resin bitterness. Smooth slightly oily palate, medium bodied, soft carbonation, very dry tangy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

0.33 bottle from Beer Geek shop in Prague. Shared with lovely Anja and Janek. Hazy to opaque orange to golden with strong white to off white head. Hoppy as expected, but not heavily in aroma. Herbs, fish, fruit. Now the hops came out, nice kick, somewhat acidic. Then it settles, sweet, floral hops, dry background. Hidden alcohol. Nice.

Bottle. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of pineapple, citrus, hops and fruit. The taste was sweet, bitter, fruity, citrusy and pineapple. Nice.

330 ml bottle. At the Pudel Baar, Tallinn, Estonia.
Hazy orange color with a small white head. Extremely unfresh hops and bitterness... unfortunately no idea of the bottling or BB date. The flavor is as unfresh as the aroma. Moderate bitterness and dry maltiness. A big disappointment.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. Thanks to FatPhil! Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grape, hops, caramel and malts. OK, this is hoppy but not very enjoeyable.

Orange color with lots of hophaze and medium white head. Aroma has passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, pine, citrus fruits and some resin. Medium body. Taste follows the aroma, really Centennial forward, lots of citrus fruits, with a good kick of tropical fruits and pine. Aftertaste is lsightly bitter, but I expected much more from "Dangerously Close To Stupid amount of hops beer". Really easy drinking, alcohol is not present whatsoever despite de 9.3% ABV. Really nice and "sessionable" dIPA.
