Bottle. Hazy orange, almost caramel colored with a frothy white head. Can’t see anything through it. Nose is peach, a caramel maltiness, sweet fruits like oranges, and a hint of the 9.3% ABV. Taste is actually pretty mellow and gentle. Nothing "in your face", but fairly balanced. A good sweet bitterness on the front, followed by some malty, caramely notes. Aftertaste is definitely a hoppy bitterness, but nowhere near a huge imperial IPA I would say. It’s interesting, it’s sold as a very balanced IIPA (you nailed it, To Øl!), but I would like some more hoppy bitterness in Imperial India Pale Ales. Interesting stuff, extremely session- and drinkable (cool/strange/new/weird/different for an IIPA) and nice to see a different touch on a style, but... Not in my favorites from To Øl

Light honey pour with a solid eggshell head. Grapefruit, evergreen, orange peel, and lemon zest. A bit of peppery spice as well. Alcohol was invisible. Not a bad IPA!

(Keg at Pudel Baar, 20130703) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had exotic fruits, pine, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A bit unbalanced strong IPA but not bad.

Appearance: Cloudy orange color with a thick off white head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Balanced and rich tropical fruity and fresh grape hoppy.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Lovely tropical fruity, rich grape hoppy and a fine malty background. Dangerously well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Lovely, powerful and tasty dipa.

Tap at Grünerløkka Brygghus / Oslo Beer Week. Hazy light amber body, big creamy beige head. Grassy hop aroma, with pine and citrus. Taste is maltrich, caramel, with light fruit notes and a massive pine presence. High sweetness, giving a thick body, aftertaste of grass and pine. A good beer, but a bit heavy on the grassy hops for me.

Keg at Brewdog AGM. Classic DIPA nose, sweet malts, alcohol and citrus/pine hops. Pours cloudy orange, small white head. Taste is bitter, balanced by some malt sweetness, but the palate is surprisingly thin for such a strong beer. Glad I tried it.

Dark golden cloudy pour, frothy white head and lace. Strong hoppy aromas of pine, grapefruit, orange peel, toffee, booze, coriander, resin. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Alcohol warms you slightly with a long hoppy finish. Delicious
