Orange beer with nice fluffy head which leaves beautiful lacing behind. Citrus, grape and sweet tropical fruits in the aroma. Lots of citrus fruits in taste, some tropic fruits but only for a short moment. Some peppery spiciness at the end. Stupid amount of hops isn’t clearly an understatement. But enjoyable hop bomb.

Tap @ Mikkeller & Friends, Köpenhamn 14/9. Grape och citrus med en härligt besk eftersmak.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy amber color. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, onion, mustard. Strongly bitter and citrusty taste with lemon, grapefruit, pine, mustard and onion. Medium body, fairly dry. Hops are more pungent but in a musty kind of way, I miss the bright and refreshing hop character.

Pours hazy gold into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface leaving scant sheets. Citrus and bazooka aromas. Soft with hay, lemon and bazooka front to back. Lasting bitter citrus finish.

On tap at Amundsen. Dirty gold. A bit of a porridge mouth feel, strong backbone of alcohol. Belgian yeast. Not too sophisticated. Fruity nose.

On tap @ Henrik. A really cloudy deep orange pour on this one and it has a small just off-white really lacing top. Smells quite nice with apricots, something slightly acidic, fruity, grapefruit and lots of grassy hops. It’s a bit more on the near soapy perfume path in the taste. Lots of piney hops, some birch and peaches. Almost snowy in a strange way. Bitter lingering aftertaste. Really good, will be having this again. 05.07.2013
