faroeviking (10293) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 17, 2013
Botella. Hazy like golden orange colour, nice medium sized white ehad, creamish, leaving a good lacing. Aroma is dominated by fruity tropical hoppiness, sweet, citrus, very pleasant. Good filling mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour indeed of fruity tropical hops, pine and citrus, quite bitter and indeed dry too. Lovely!

ciaranc (781) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 15, 2013
Cloudy gold tinged with orange, big foamy white head, nice lacing. Big nose - aroma of pine, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, toffee and resin. Mental level of bitterness in the flavour, its straight in your face. Mellows out to some of the fruit and toffee from the aroma. Thick, slick mouthfeel, big bodied. Medium fizzy carbonation sets it off well. Finish is balanced between huge, slighty astringent grapefruit hop bitterness and fruity, caramel malt. No sign of the ABV at all. Possibly the hoppiest beer Ive ever had, probably on account of it being way fresher than the US ones I can source. Which is good, because I love hops and I love sweetness in an IPA. Brilliant.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and tropical fruits. Flavour of dry resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and some dry tropical fruity notes. Very rich and full-bodied, with dry fruity and resinous hop notes dominating. Excellent stuff.

Pours hazy orange amber with two fingers of white head. Aroma of fresh pine, citrus, grapefruit, light bread and caramel. Very fresh! Taste is big, bold, hoppy bitter. Resinous, tasty. At the same time, not very balanced. There's a clear lack of sweetness and the body is lacking, well, a bit of body. Average carbonation which feels like a bit too much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
