The next beer in the To l hop adventure is now a reality we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Aroma is grapefruit, other citrus, and some flowers. Taste is very fruity and not too bitter. Nice finish. Nice aftertaste as well. Pretty damn good.

Great smooth IPA, Retains head and remains cloudy. Not that hoppy but the high alcohol is very well hidden. Great beer.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours a hazy golden orange colour with a thick white lacing head. Aromas of pineapple & citrus. Tastes malt, a lot hops, powerful tropical fruits and pine. Thick and oily. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very fresh and fruity for a 9.3% beer. Orange with a thin white head and good lacing, and looks sherberty rather than cloudy. Medium body lifted by zingy carbonation. Big fruit salad nose, particularly orange and mango, sitting above pine on the nose. Tastes fruity too, moderated by caramel malt and almost no alcohol burn. Big lasting bitter finish. Top class.

Pours cloudy pale gold with a fat finger of dense ivory head, excellent retention and lacing. (4/5) Nose is pithy citrus, pine, peaches, mango, caramel malt. (8/10) Taste is moderate sweet, strong bitter, mild peppery spice. (8/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly spicy finish. (4/5) Lots of flavour and a very well-behaved ABV. And yeah, its a 100 IBU hop bomb, but its not overwhelming, because its fairly well-supported by the caramel malt. I like it. (16/20)

Mesjasz (276) - Lodz, POLAND - MAR 4, 2015
Hazy golden color, big creamy white head. Aroma is hops with citrus, tropical fruits, pine and grass with caramel note. Taste is heavy bitter with fresh white grapefruit, pomelo, orange zest and resin flavors. Little malt sweetness and hay also appear. Aftertaste is long bitterness with juicy grapefruit note. Beer have full body, thick texture and medium carbonation. For this ABV alcohol is impalpable and beer has high drinkable factor. Great Double IPA.

Draft at LCBF 2013 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a light, white foam head. Moderate dried citrus, some bready pale malts, orange, tangerine, some hay. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, pretty sweet. Lingering ripe tangerine. Full on but pretty well balanced.

Barwa i piana: barwa jasno złota, zamglona. Piana lekko zabarwiona (żłto -biała), średnio i drobno pęcherzykowa, obfita i dosyć trwała. Krągła do tęgiej pełnia i umiarkowane wysycenie. Nieco oleista konsystencja.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2015 Bottle. Appears hazy blonde/amber. Aroma of tropical fruit, tastes like citrus that soon evolves into a strong (but not too strong) bitter hoppiness. The perfect balance achieved by To l makes this beer almost perfect. Bravo.
