The next beer in the To Ĝl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique August 2013. You would have to be stupid not to like this beer. Hops dominate and leave a film in the mouth. A beer to be treated with respect.

Love the design. Pours cloudy yellow with medium head. Fruity sweet aroma. Full body tilted towards sweet peachy notes. Decent drink - a bit sweet for my taste.

Blonde orangée trouble, col blanc qui tient bien la route. Nez fleuri, fruité (melon, orange), miellé, alcoolisé. Amertume très puissante, sèche, aromes de caramel, miel, pin, citron. Bouche assez complexe. Alcool bien présent. Corps puissant. Brutale.

10/IX/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ wedding anniversary tasting on a MF boat tour with captain Erwin - BB: 11/III/16 (2014-984)

Very cloudy light orange beer, creamy yellowish irregular head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: citrus, very fruity, mango, passion fruit, bit sweet, sugary impression. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malty start, bit sugary, yeast touch, citrus, little soapy, fruity and fresh hops, exotic fruits, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: fruity, some hops, yeast, citrus, pineapple, little piny, soapy touch. Very nice one!

330mL Pours a hazy, slightly murky orange gold body. Big creamy white head hangs around. Big aroma; lots of hoppy grass, passionfruit, grapefruit, pine, resiny, with underlying toasty malt. Body is quite oily, resiny, lively carbonation, medium body - deceptively lean for its strength! Lots of sweet pale malty goodness on the body. Hops deliver a touch less than promised on the nose - resiny leaf, grass, citrus & unripe tropical fruits. Plenty of drying bitterness & a touch of warmth on finish. Reasonably good IPA, balance is a bit off.
