Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, caramel. Flavour is light sweetness, citrus fruits and hops. Nice agressive hoppiness to this one, with plenty of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Tap at Mikkeller BKK sometime beginning of Feb. This is exactly as it’s named. A big and bold DIPA that’s perfect is just about every way. I’m a sucker for these. Please, pour this down my gullet every day!

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Intense citrusy, fruity hop aroma exhibits a plethora of exotic fruit notes: mango, passion fruit, peach, grapefruit etc. Taste is moderately sweet citrusy fruity and bitter hoppy, the same fruit notes reappear accompanied by a proper portion of bitterness. Dangerously drinkable, completely hidden alcohol - excellent!

Duft av sitron og appelsin. Dunkel gul farge. Tynn hinne av hvitt skum. Frisk smak av appelsin og sitron. Med en litt søt/syrlig sittende ettersmak.

Bottle at home. A bit hazy yellow beer with a big lacy white head. Hoppy, tropical fruity aroma. Similar flavour, sweetish. Nice beer :-)

When opening the bottle a shitload of pine and citrus fills the room. Nice medium bodied bready double ipa with enough bitterness to make it noticed. Not astringent but very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems en Zoon. BBF 16/09/2015. Quote on the back “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” is brilliant. The artwork is stellar as is the case with most To Øl beers. Pours a radiant IPA orange, hazy, little remains from the white head. Smells like caramel, yeast, tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, dried fruits, sweet exotic fruits hops mixed with mellow yeast. Tastes like mango, pineapple, light pine resin, touch crystallized caramel, finish is yeast, grass mixed mango, very fruity, juicy. Slightly yeasty body. A delight, everything that one could expect from a DIPA.

Speciale!

Pours a hazy yellow/golden colour with a medium/light head but strong lacing. Aroma is a wonderful fruity, pineapple hoppy style. First taste is quite sweet but not in the belgian way. More pineapple and fruits and some hint of caramel in the background. Aftertaste is very bitter and hoppy but ends in nice grassy notes. A brtual IPA full of taste but just the every-so-slight hint of alcohol.
