The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Even when you open a bottle... what a full aromatiic aroma :) It s a hoparomatic heaven :) I know this beer for over than 2 years. The greatest of all!! It is still unbeaten for my taste in a range of IPA-s or iIPA-s

Equally herbaceous and fruity - hop heaven - great bitter hit - sweet malt background - I took a couple of points away due to wayyy too high alcohol - leaves too hot an aftertaste - would like to drink more than a couple of these but I’d fall over! Great beer.

Bottiglia. @civicomaltato Siracusa. Colore arancio torbido, splendido bouquet floreale e resinoso.

Bottle at never stop. Great gipsy beer. Aromas of citrus, caramel, hay, grass. Taste is bitter, spicy, with long length. Palate is creamy and full bodied.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems en Zoon. BBF 16/09/2015. Quote on the back “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” is brilliant. The artwork is stellar as is the case with most To Øl beers. Pours a radiant IPA orange, hazy, little remains from the white head. Smells like caramel, yeast, tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, dried fruits, sweet exotic fruits hops mixed with mellow yeast. Tastes like mango, pineapple, light pine resin, touch crystallized caramel, finish is yeast, grass mixed mango, very fruity, juicy. Slightly yeasty body. A delight, everything that one could expect from a DIPA.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2016 Bottle 0,33l. Cloudy dirty orange color. Average yellowish head. Full body, light carbonation. Rich with taste of fruits like pineapple, apricot and peach, citruses, touch of herbs. Medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness, long lasting finish. Very good one.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2015 Bottle. Appears hazy blonde/amber. Aroma of tropical fruit, tastes like citrus that soon evolves into a strong (but not too strong) bitter hoppiness. The perfect balance achieved by To Øl makes this beer almost perfect. Bravo.

Aroma has floral notes, tropical fruits and cereal. Pours hazy golden with a small head that leaves beautiful lacing, Taste has heavy sweetness and medium bitterness. Resin and caramel. Very nice balance. Full bodied with average carbonation. Overall an excellent beer.
