The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

330ml bottle, pours cloudy gold with a foamy white head. Big citrus hop notes, Seville orange, lemon, zesty tangy fruits over light biscuity and caramel malts. Light sweetness from the malts but this is balanced nicely with the hops to impart a dry bitter finish which hides the abv well. Body is medium, light oily texture with fine carbonation. There is a bit too much yeast in the bottom which makes it appear less refined than some beers but other than that this is a top notch dipa.

Bottle at the 7th Tasting in Belgrade-Serbia with Vlada, Matt, Marko (budalo). Pours deep yellow, cloudy with a white foam which leaves draft on the glass. Nose: orange juice, tropical, papaya. Mouth: lively carbonated, tick body, oily, fruity, just lovely execution of the style.

Pours hazy yellow with a dense white head. Nice fruity, citrus, sweet malty aroma, all well balanced. Really nice flavor, full body, creamy mouthfeel with a moderate to heavy bitterness and malty sweetness, also notes of citrus hops, fruity, grapefruit. Really nice

Tallahassee, Fl. - Quick N Save - 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy medium orange pour, reminds me of an Orange Julius, sticky snow white head, sticky lacing. Fresh, resiny, aroma with some light cat urine accents, strong spruce-like accents. Delectable flavor with some minty accents, some papaya and mango-like fruitiness, a touch of caramel sweetness,. Mouthfeel has a solid thickness to it. Nice way to wrap up an evening.

Draft pour. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has big floral and citrus hops. Some caramel sweetness. Lemon zest. Tastes mildly bitter. Pretty refreshing.

A big big beer. Feeling all of its almost 10% alcohol after a few sips. Aromas are mostly citrus hops. Big citrus bitterness and maybe some booze coming through. Sweet maltiness too. Really good.

Orange color with lots of hophaze and medium white head. Aroma has passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, pine, citrus fruits and some resin. Medium body. Taste follows the aroma, really Centennial forward, lots of citrus fruits, with a good kick of tropical fruits and pine. Aftertaste is lsightly bitter, but I expected much more from "Dangerously Close To Stupid amount of hops beer". Really easy drinking, alcohol is not present whatsoever despite de 9.3% ABV. Really nice and "sessionable" dIPA.
