4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Vignale (1372) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 10, 2013
Riktigt bra.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rejtable (812) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 20, 2013
Pretty solid. Pours cloudy light orange with some head and lots of lacing. Nose is yeasty and big floral hops. Aromas of grapefruit, floral hops, some apricot and maybe somebiscuit and yeast. Taste is light sweet and a pretty big and long lasting bitter finish. Mouthfeel is reasonably full with lively carbonation.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 LicoriceKing (30) - DENMARK - APR 20, 2013
Bottle. Amber in color. Aroma: Hops, grapefruit, citrus and pine. Taste: Extremely fruity as well, especially grapefruit and pomegranate. Touch of alcohol. Dry hoppy finish. Pretty aggressive palate and the taste really lingers. This is a phenomenal double IPA - a lot of taste, making it something you can really sip for ages.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maxwelldeux (2240) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - APR 17, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is a little hoppy and bitter, but smells like it’s been on the shelf too long. Taste is actually a little sweet with just a hint of citrus in there. Better than the old version of the First Frontier, but still not great.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Glouglouburp (5572) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 9, 2013
In short: A very bitter golden IPA. Too harsh for its own good, low drinkability.
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed a few weeks after receiving it through private importations.
The look: Muddy golden body topped by a large off-white head with medium retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: The very hoppy nose is very much coniferous, oranges, resinous, a bit soapy, cleaning product. Very aromatic, I could smell my glass from 6 inches away but there was something chemical/plastic in that aroma that bothered me. Taste has a thick chewy bready malt body, medium amount of caramel, strong yeast presence for the style, lots of oranges and coniferous resinous hops, very resinous, soft carbonation. Bitterness level is very and alcohol is a bit apparent making for a very abrasive finish. I enjoyed it because I’m a hophead but overall I thought it was a rather brutal beer, intensity without purpose. Overall I thought it was a rather brutal beer, intensity without purpose. Very low drinkability quality. .
