3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a supremely hazy bronze-brown color with a moderate but quickly vanishing head. The aroma is dominated by the big and bready malt backbone, some alcohol, and only a modest brightness from some woodsy hops. The flavor is more balanced, with characteristics of pine and earth providing a dull but resonating bitterness over the bread and alcohol. The medium body and fine cabonation allow a bit of a boozy finish to linger on the palate. Overall, although it provides some punch, this one is in that fuzzy zone between DIPA and barleywine, which leaves me confused and unsatisfied for some reason.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours nearly clear amber with a thick yellow-ish head. Aroma is fruity, heavily hoppy and quite complex, although I can’t identify more than some grass. Sweetness and alcohol to balance the high bitterness, borderline cloying, but the taste remains mostly bitter. Long smooth bitter finish. Nice, but far from the best DIPA out there.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Flaska. Härlig doft tung men samtidigt fruktig. Detta bådar gott. Smaken härligt komplext med mycket frukt. Känns inte att detta är en stark öl. Fina toner som avslutas som sig bör med en god beska.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours deep orange color with off-white, big, frothy and very long lasting head, excellent lacing. Aroma of peach, orange zest, pine, grass. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Perfect carbonation, alcohol very masked. Strong (maybe overwhelming) bitter finish. Taste is strongly hoppy, deep and complex, with peach, caramel and resin.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
DIPA lace. Intense, resinous pine and fir flavor, with a faint Birch sweetness that’s quickly swallowed by a lasting, bitter finish. Quite aptly named.

Really good DIPA. Alcoholic but easy drinking. Bitter, nice body, straw, grass, pine... Taste it!

Bottle sample at a tasting a at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas. Clear amber. Aroma of of malt and rather stale hops, a bit piney. Sweetish flavor, malty, with caramel, some fruitiness and somewhat stale piney hops with strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured picture perfect with a huge long-lasting cream colored head and plenty of lace. Color is a deep clear orange amber. Aroma is hop malt yeast. This is a real hop bomb with flavor totally dominated by very bitter hops. Too much for me. Body would be good except for the bitterness cranks it. Hard beer for me to like.
