COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: The sequel to To Øls Hop devil "First Frontier" is here and the name is Final Frontier. It is a hoppy DIPA with a little more of everything compared to its predecessor. We recommend taking this baby into the wild!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oat, Hooooooopppppppsssssss (Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus) and yeast.

Hazy orange beer with a long lasting white head. Piny and grapefruity aromas with a malty and bitter taste. The body is medium full and the finish also medium long.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2013 Serving - Poured from a 33cl bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance - Lasting off-white head, fine bubbles. Hazy amber color.
Aroma - Fair intensity and persistence. Aroma of caramel, resin, citrus, grass, honey.
Mouth - Intense and persistent. Malty sweet at the beginning. Tastes of hops, resins. Slightly astringent. Long lasting bitter at the end. Medium carbonation. Heavy body. The complex structure covers almost completely the alcohol. The warming sensation is high.
Overall - Well balanced with persistent resinous bitter final. Harmonic smell and taste.
Beer and food - Can be accompanied with complex and tasty meat course, especially pork, braised beef or pasta with tasty meat sauce. Fried meat, fish and vegetables.

Bottle at Never Stop. Great balance. Aromas of grass, caramel, cherry. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is creamy and full bodied.

A typical double ipa. In the smell there are lots of hop. When the beer warms up, smell becomes less nice. It begins soft in the mouth where you taste caramel and aromatic hops. Further on the bitter hops take over, and continu in the aftertaste. So overal everything you expect in a double ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle I picked up at Stateline Liquores. Pours a very murky, dark orange with some lacing, extremely frothy, white head. Big citrus pith nose, dried straw, some grass, a little pine sol, plenty of cardboard too, dried orange peel. Flavor is well past stale, cardboard, orange, grass, hay, some malt, a little brown sugar, but just a lot of wet brown paper. Sticky finish.

On tap @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Intense hoppy aroma with pronounced malty notes. Strong, hoppy flavour, quickly giving way to malty sweetness and alcohol notes. Round body. Dryish and acetic aftertaste. Nice.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 25/V/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 7/III/15 (2013-496)

Clear dark orange to amber beer, huge creamy off-white to yellow head, very stable, adhesive, leaving rings in the glass with each sip. Aroma: very fruity, lots of citrus, grapefruit, some pineapple, lots of passion fruits, bit piny, resinous. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very fruity start, passion fruits, mango, sweet, honey malts, sugary, piny bitterness. Aftertaste: very fruity, alcohol noticeable, sweet and sugary, some strawberry jam, then bitter grapefruit turning into an almost medicinal bitterness. A bit over the top, lover the fruity character but the ending is too bitter. Or maybe it’s because this was my first beer after a week of being sick and no drinking.
