English: The sequel to To Øls Hop devil "First Frontier" is here and the name is Final Frontier. It is a hoppy DIPA with a little more of everything compared to its predecessor. We recommend taking this baby into the wild!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oat, Hooooooopppppppsssssss (Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus) and yeast.

Pours clear, deep amber with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is pleasant resiny, piney, plant sap, light fruity. Soft doughy malt base. Medium carbonation, fine light creamy palate. Flavour is soft, fruity, bitter, some apple peel, light peach, apricot. Mild bitter. Elegant DIPA - probably with some Simcoe. Nice.

At just on cool and into a snifter. Three inch, heavy plume of yellow stained white suds atop a misty deep copper body. Head is resilient and needs to be gnawed off in order to quaff. Resinous, sappy, pine needle and nettle drenched nose with hints of camphor, eucalypt, tea-tree and spicy alcohol notes. Chewy, unkilned nuts and biscuity malt upfront before a ferocious bombardment of resinous, piney hops in back. Quite sweet, tangy, fruity, hints at melon, with a little lemon honey conserve. Heated, warm, textural swallow is deep and floral, perfumey and musky - maybe way too many ’y’s! Big in body and creamy in texture. Smooth, oily, hoppy length. Camphorous, menthol, minty, rose-petal complexity. Earthy, only so slightly. This is smashing easy on the tongue. I could fall over soon. Great use of hops. Good malt backbone. Well balanced. Proud to host the alcohol. Not bad!!! (33cL, BB 08/11/15, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Bottle, 330ml. A somewhat clear amber beer with a big foamy white head. It has a floral aroma with grapefruit, citrics, pine resin, lemon and maybe even mint. Taste is bitter with a strong finish. There is some carbonation and heavy astringency. It has a hoppy character, but also there is a considerable amount of malt. Overall well-balanced. A textbook classic IPA.

Bottle, 355ml. Clear maple with a creamy tan head. Deep floral aroma with hints of caramel and licorice. Robust with moderate to high carbonation. Deep roasted character with a heavy bitterness and astringency. Tremendous citric hoppy character with a rich alcohol bitter character. Amazing, one of the best IPAs I’ve come across.

Pours a supremely hazy bronze-brown color with a moderate but quickly vanishing head. The aroma is dominated by the big and bready malt backbone, some alcohol, and only a modest brightness from some woodsy hops. The flavor is more balanced, with characteristics of pine and earth providing a dull but resonating bitterness over the bread and alcohol. The medium body and fine cabonation allow a bit of a boozy finish to linger on the palate. Overall, although it provides some punch, this one is in that fuzzy zone between DIPA and barleywine, which leaves me confused and unsatisfied for some reason.
