3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Clear amber color with off white head. Malty caramel aroma, bready, light hoppy, fruity and pine. Taste is sweet and bitter, caramel and fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. I liked it more the previous time that I had it, maybe not so fresh bottle.

Troebel vol met gist donker koperkleurig. Aroma is kruidig, hop. De smaak is behoorlijk zuur, met een bittertje. Droog trekkend mondgevoel.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Pours a deep orange amber colour, foam off-white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of juicy tropical fruit mango, mandarin. Flavour is malt caramel with mango, hop resin, orange, grapefruit & woody pine bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy peppery bitter finish. Very drinkable DIPA.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Clear orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, old hops, oxidation. THT is November 2015. Taste malts, hops but again old, some oxidation, a oodles bitterness nonetheless. Medium body and carbonation. Probably was a pretty good beer when it was fresh. Bad bottle I guess..bad luck.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
At just on cool and into a snifter. Three inch, heavy plume of yellow stained white suds atop a misty deep copper body. Head is resilient and needs to be gnawed off in order to quaff. Resinous, sappy, pine needle and nettle drenched nose with hints of camphor, eucalypt, tea-tree and spicy alcohol notes. Chewy, unkilned nuts and biscuity malt upfront before a ferocious bombardment of resinous, piney hops in back. Quite sweet, tangy, fruity, hints at melon, with a little lemon honey conserve. Heated, warm, textural swallow is deep and floral, perfumey and musky - maybe way too many ’y’s! Big in body and creamy in texture. Smooth, oily, hoppy length. Camphorous, menthol, minty, rose-petal complexity. Earthy, only so slightly. This is smashing easy on the tongue. I could fall over soon. Great use of hops. Good malt backbone. Well balanced. Proud to host the alcohol. Not bad!!! (33cL, BB 08/11/15, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
