English: The sequel to To Øls Hop devil "First Frontier" is here and the name is Final Frontier. It is a hoppy DIPA with a little more of everything compared to its predecessor. We recommend taking this baby into the wild!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oat, Hooooooopppppppsssssss (Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus) and yeast.

A nice tastecombination with a rich ipa typical nose and taste. Not letting hops take over it has a nice barley taste.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber color, frothy stable white head. Microfoam. Excellent hoppy nose, with clear fruity notes. Taste is very hoppy, with an abrupt bitter finish. Really good DIPA. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Tap. Queens Head, King’s Cross. Slightly murky, pale copper colour. Messy, sticky, pale cream head. Very juicy, boiled sweet, damp, dank hop. Some lovely woody, resinous notes. Taste is chewy sweet, turning surprisingly moderately bitter. Juicy, fairly light palate, considering the ABV. Finishes lightly spicy, lasting bitter. Dangerously drinkable.

330ml bottle pours copper color with a finger and a half of white head that retains well and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruits with some tropical fruits and herbal and caramel notes. Taste is a grapefruit and herbal hop bitterness with a tropical fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation that tickles the palate nicely. Overall, a very nicely done DIPA that is both balanced and tasty.

Now this is a DIPA! Very rich and robust profile, earthiness and bitter citrus hops are forward and most present, but it also has a well backed pine profile and a caramel malty finish. Delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2015 Clear Amber colour with stable yellow creamy head. Fast rising bubbles. Aroma: without presence of alcohol, strong notes of hops - tropical fruits, pine, citrous, etc, Flavor is similar: gentle note of alcohol, strong note of hops, especially citrous, tropical fruits, but well balanced with malts: wheat, biscuit, little caramel, dried fruits...texture is silky and smoothy. Hop bittness is strong, malt sweetness is medium to high Body is soft-sticky, bitterness is strong, with long lasting aftertaste. Carbonation is low.

Bottle to snifter. Pours a murky, saturated deep amber. Rich, robust aroma of earthy and pine hops with sweet caramel and subtle mango notes. Flavor is dense and forward, woody pine stickiness alongside a chewy, luscious fruitiness. Floral notes stick onto the roof of the mouth and in the nose. Thick oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Very heavy flavors here. Enjoyable, but only one is enough for the palate to appreciate.

couleur ambrée; petite mousse blanche; arômes et goût maltés, houblonnés, fruités; bière assez douce avec une finale moyennement amère; l’alcool se fait un peu trop sentir

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: Judging from the lack of reviews in the past month, I am thinking I may be having an older than optimal bottle. Pours is really, really nice: hazy amber with a creamy, cream-coloured head. Aroma is pretty nice too: quite earthy. Taste is malty, but with the distinct hops still in place. Very minimal aftertaste. This is a very mild DIPA or it is one that is way past its prime. I can’t tell. That said, it is perfectly fine.
