English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Bärnstensfärgad med stort ljust skum. Doftar mycket grapefrukt och citrus. Grapefrukt dominerar i smaken och beskan ligger kvar länge.

Hazy yellow, white creamy head. Big hops in the nose and taste, fruits like oranges, peach and lemons, a nice bitter bite, pine, very little malt tones. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium body, mouthfeel’s a bit oily.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Gyldenbrun. Høyt tett skum som varer lenge. Spotlacing. Litt uklar. God aprikosaroma. Smaken tørr frukt. Etterlater en ikke god ettersmak.

Bottle from Barley Wine, CPH - fuzzy orange coloured pour with white head. Medley of tropical and zesty citrus fruits in the aroma and taste, lots of orange, lemon, peach and mango, pine, medium malty, solid bitter finish. Gorgeous.

Aroma strongly of strong citrus and hops. A lighter golden orange pour with a perfect two fingers of creamy white head. Very lovely tropical flavours with no malt presence which I like a lot. A great IPA.

Bottle. Nice cloudy orange-red color with lace. Big stewed stone fruit and tropical fruit nose, juicy biscuits, some caramel. Flavor is dryer, with tropical fruits and nice bitterness. Big flavors, rather light, though, and smooth.

Bottle from Sugaya. Fluffy caramel souffle aroma, with mango and slightly pungent hops. Nicely bright medium straw color. Light peachy, mango flavors with a mild hop blend. Medium body. Nice enough, but it does get a little cloying toward the end.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and citrus with some pine hop notes. Taste is a herbal and citrus hop bitterness with a grainy malt hoppy sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. A good IPA which is full flavored and definitely recommended.
