COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Questa ipa danese è una bella sorpresa di freschezza e aromi ben bilanciati che portano questa birra ad essere ricordata a lungo, sopratutto per i luppoli rari utilizzati.

Pours slightly hazy medium gold with three fingers of rocky white head, good retention and lacing. (4/5) Nose is citrus, peach, pine, caramel malt, light floral. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderately strong bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (4/5) Fairly similar to their Southern Frontier, but without the corn adjunct flavours. Brighter hops, lighter malt, marginally heavier ABV - what’s not to like? (15/20)

Quite good IPA. Appears cloudy amber, with a continuously reforming head (at least for my bottle), has a good balance between the fruity opening note and the pleasant bitterness that prepares the mouth for the next sip.

Cloudy burnt amber with a big frothy off-white head. Nose of piney citrus. Mouthfeel is fairly light and a bit creamy. Taste has orange, lemon and grapefruit, with some caramel malt leading to a lasting bitter finish. Refreshing and well balanced - would have preferred just a bit more firepower.

From Hopleaf. Drank on CNY 年初二. Clear light copper; thick white head with big bubbles and heavy foamy legs. Smells and tastes of very dry resinous hop, very bitter, bit of crisp malt. Some peach and lime on the nose. Body has fine carbonation, light, very smooth. Enjoyable resinous bitter IPA that is simple but done well.

Bottle from Hop Leaf at home. Hazy golden orange pour with dense frothy head. Aroma is pleasant pear/peach hops. Taste is not too bitter, tart and hoppy. With the same not too ripe peachy flavors. Lingering bitterness. Thin but smooth palate. Really pleasant but not too boring IPA.

Hazy orange with a white head, looking pretty. Floral citrus hop aroma. Big bitter taste along with some sweet citrus flavour.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/2/2015. Pours a cloudy medium golden with a big fluffy white head. The nose is lovely - oodles of tropical and stone fruit with lots of honey notes topping it off. The flavour follows suit, with lots of sweet passionfruit, lychee, mango, peach and apricot, with bucket loads of honey in the middle. While a very sweet IPA, there’s enough lingering grapefruity hops at the back to keep thins really interesting. The plate is slick and the carbonation average. A trul wonderful IPA with dessert overtones.

Bottle. Golden beer, foamy head. Aroma of caramel, bread and pine. Buttery taste of peach, pine and biscuit. Fruity bitter finish. Nice, but a bit too modest.

Bottle 330ml at Mbargro Stockholm Hornstull. Smells like that beautiful, exampled American IPA, aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, buns, bread roll and oil. Taste of strong hops, bitter-sweet, sweet hard candy, fruit, biscuits, orange peel. This is very good.

Botella. Color ambar claro. Espuma blanca potente y persitente. Aromas afrutados melocoton, uvas, algo floral. En boca el amargor predomina sobre el dulzor bajo. Los sabores similares a los de aroma con algo mas floral herbal. Textura fina-media. Carbonatacion media baja. Final no demsiado amargo. Floral y presistente....buena IPA. De barril recien pinchado tiene q ser brutal.
