COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Aroma: burst of tropical fruits, mango, passionfruit, oranges, citric, resinous. Appearance: big creamy off-white head, hazy golden colour, lovely! Flavour: big bite! lots of tropical fruits, passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, pine, resinous, warming finish. Mouthfeel: lively bubbles, fresh. Total: One of the best IPAs I’ve had to date!

Questa ipa danese è una bella sorpresa di freschezza e aromi ben bilanciati che portano questa birra ad essere ricordata a lungo, sopratutto per i luppoli rari utilizzati.

Bottle. Aroma is strongly piny and hoppy. Refreshing. Taste hits you midway through. Strong piny taste with a smooth body. Bitter crisp finish. A very nice IPA though this maybe lingers on the APA border. Really good.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with nice white head. Full on citrus hop aroma, mango, passion fruit and grapefruit. Taste is a massive grapefruit explosion, blood orange, no detectable malt flavor. Fizzy and very bitter from start to finish. Like drinking carbonated grapefruit juice. My kind of ipa

Bottle at home. Pours hazy orange. Orange and grapefruit aromas as you’d expect from this kind of IPA. Flavours are massive grapefruit and orange hop bomb. Not as bitter as I was expecting from a 7.1% beer which is quite pleasant. It’s simply amazing.

Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle. Cloudy dark amber in colour with very strong floral tropical fruit flavours and a very bitter hoppy finish.

Comes out of the bottle a slightly hazy dark amber with a fairly thick golden-buff head. Strong, hoppy aroma has firm yeasty and sour fruity notes, the latter mainly apple with some orange. Flavor is quite hoppy and bitter, and has notes of citrus, yeast and fresh-cut wood. This is a rough and rugged IPA! Lively texture has good body and lots of fizz. Can you handle this one?

Poured up on tap at the Delirium Hoppy Loft with clear deep gold colored body with thick copper core supporting a nice white head of foam that leaves behind full sheet lacing. The aroma pushes up a mix of apricot, grapefruit and mango along with some spicy hops and faint malts sweetness. The flavor unfolds with fairly rich near chewy hoppy goodness like tangelo, grapefruit and a bit of mango and all held apart by a wedge of pine hoppiness. The hops ride right into the finish where they dry out the experience some. Darn tasty, this.

At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy deep golden colour. Strong and pleasant aroma of American hops (Warrior, Simcoe and Centennial), fruity and piney notes. The flavour is also dominated by said fruity hops, but is not too extreme. Noticeable malts with a little caramel balance the flavour nicely. Very good!
