Lightly hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft and semi dry. Smooth dry malt. Little orange peel and marmalade hops. Light malt cream. Whisper of spice before a semi dry finish. Pretty drinkable but not really getting much of the spiced angle, barely any spice here.

Draught at Söder om Småland, Malmö
Hazy amber color with semi creamy head. The aroma is creamy, lightly fruity. Smooth mouthfeel; creamy malt flavor (I feel some butter, I fear it comes from the previous beer I had), strong bitterness, with mild fruity character, but the final presents traces of vegetables/chicory.
It seems unfresh.

Bottle. It pours an unclear golden-orange body under a dense, lasting, finger-thick off-white head. Some lacings too. The aroma is rather toffee-ish, with oranges and pine cones blending in. It’s quite bitter on the palate, but also rather sweetish, so it needs to be. Pine cones, orange peel and some canned peaches and notes of bread and caramel. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting bitter and orangey finish. A bit sweeter than I prefer this one, and I can easily do without toffee and bread in my pale ales, but it certainly slides down easily. Well worth a rebuy. 140712
