3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle -
The red wine and barrel is definitely detected in this beer and it does a nice job harmonizing with the base style. Vinous notes in aroma, dried fruits, peppery, oaked and grapefruits. A light hop bitterness found in on the palate, light pepper, alcohol, a touch of berries and vanilla. To Øl? To me!

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Copper color. Thick aroma of red wine, vanilla, grapefruit, oak, butter, toffee and tart alcohol. Tart red wine and toffeish buttery oak taste with grapefruit. Medium to full. Red wine and oak taste dominates, lots of character but no balance.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Kind of clear yellow with a large good lasting and lacing white head. Smells fruity and flowery. Raspberry, strawberry, wood, citrus, pepper, some alcohol and long lasting tannins. Taste is medium sweet and light/medium bitter. Medium body, oily/light creamy texture, soft carbonation. Dry and light astringent finish which somehow reminds me of Campari. That is a good thing.
