Bottled, BB date stuck beneath a sticker on the cap, but it was bought somewhere sept 2013, large sample. Clear copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of loads of biscuity malt, caramel, raisin, but also some fruity notes like orange and grapefruit. Hint of fusel alcohol, not that much spicy notes. Quite sweet in taste, slight bitter, some alcohol. Sirupy. Like a fusion between an american barley wine and a belgian quadrupel. Lots of sugary sweetness, but a great sipper.

750 ml bottle poured a cloudy reddish amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of toffee, prunes, raisin, honey, caramel, yeast and spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, honey, earthiness, fruitiness, light spice and a hint of yeast with a smooth lingering toffee finish.

On tap a few months back. Pours with a hazy amber hued body with an off-white head that fades. Aromas are hugely raisiny, congac, vinous, honey and a boat load of alcohol. Flavors are sweet, bitter, raisiny, lots of alcohol, a bit flabby (unbalanced might be another word), honey. Very sweet and very viscous.

Bottle. Unclear brown with a thick beige good lacing head. Surprisingly hoppy smell and also quite yeasty. Aroma is electrical fire phenolic and roasted with caramel, nuts, brown sugar and herbal EKG like hops. Strange taste. The starts off sweet then some roasted bitterness comes forward which is then overpowered by sweetness lasting into the finish. Medium/heavy sweet and medium bitter. Full body, oily/creamy texture, soft carbonation. A bit confusing, but not unpleasant.

Draft - Brown sugar, prune and booze, cloudy brown with a thin white head. Dark fruit, brown sugar and lots of prune and booze. Long finish that has a touch of bitterness. Nice and pruney.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2015 Intenso color ambra lievemente nebuloso con un soffice cappello di fragile schiuma beige chiaro. Bouquet piacevolissimo con sentori di caramello e frutta fresca; gusto dolce e fruttato con note di toffee, zucchero caramellato e un retrogusto amarognolo discretamente persistente e luppolato. Corpo medio, effervescenza debole, struttura setoso-sciropposa. Buona anche se molto dolce, perché nel finale è piuttosto asciutta e non incolla il palato.

To øl/Mikkeller Fuck Art this is Advertising 11.3% @ Antwerps Bierhuyske. Caramel, coffee and toffee on the nose.
Taste: nice hoppy bitterness first, followed by the very sweet quadruple taste. The alcohol is also quite prominent. Extremely sweet on the taste.

Strong and sweet beer, with of course some fruits in it. Nice, but not one of To Øl’s best.
