33cl bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with a beautiful creamy light beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, plums, raisins, light citrus,light yeast. Similar taste, not overly sweet, nice unexpected final hoppy bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, light carbonation.

A nice beer overall. Pours an ok muddy brown with a tan head. Smells of citrus, cherry, grapefruit and coriander. Taste is thick, with lots of cherry and plum, grapefruit, citrus, booziness and some rice crispy treats. Lick your lips after drinking. Had in the bottle.

Bottle. Dark copper in colour, small white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, raisins, plums, candy sugar. In taste sweet, syrupy withnotes of fried fruits, caramel, light spiciness i, the finish. Full bodied, medium to high bitterness. Low alcohol in the finish,ore warming than harsh. Another great beer from To Ol!

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is bready malt and raisin. Thin mouth, toasted malt, dark fruit, light spice, sweet finish, good.

ASPETTO: ambrato scuro, con riflessi di pelo di volpe. Schiuma abbastanza fine, abbondante e persistente. AROMA: abbastanza intenso e avvolgente. Caramello, liquoroso, ma anche un erbaceo e floreali forti, che ci fanno presagire che ci troviamo davanti ad una birra particolare. GUSTO: come ogni quadruppel che si rispetti, parte con un delizioso caramello, datteri e un tocco di liquoroso, ma evolve ben presto in un erbaceo che permane con fermezza nel retrogusto. La carbonizzazione è abbastanza bassa mentre il corpo strutturato. CONCLUSIONE: birra sicuramente saporita, ma anomala, almeno per me. Devo dire che non ho apprezzato molto il finale erbaceo, sono altre cose che mi aspetto da una quadruppel. Tuttavia resta il ricordo di una bella cena gustata con una birra direi soddisfacente.
